Become Your Own ISP Selling Broadband & Leased Lines
Our broadband reseller platform allows you to operate as a virtual ISP. You have full control over your orders from the moment you place them including the ability to track the progress, make changes in real time, and diagnose faults. Everything you interact with, including our network and control panel is the result of thousands of development hours and investments made by ICUK.
You may be visiting our website looking to sell broadband, knowing full well that you may been previously steering broadband leads elsewhere. As a Virtual ISP with ICUK, you own your own customer contracts. They know you as the ISP, no one else. We supply you with premium broadband connections you can sell with confidence. You simply need to set your retail prices, secure the contract, and provide 1st line support and collect payment.
ICUK started as virtual ISP many years ago, and as such we are more than aware how important it is to be able to supply quality support levels to your own clients. This is why we have spent a lot of time, money and effort ensuring you have the tools and diagnostics you need to be able to provide meaningful first line support to your clients. As a reseller you provide first line support to your customers.
We are in a fortunate position of being able to supply connectivity through multiple carriers. By doing so we are allowing our resellers access to ultra competitive pricing, along with the ability to confidently offer resilient connectivity. All carrier options can be ordered and managed in the same way through the ICUK control panel.
We do not dictate your retail price. We simply supply the connectivity to you at a wholesale price. How you sell it to your customers, the margins you make, and the contract lengths you apply, are up to you to set. We have made sure that our platform is as flexible as it can be allow you to sell these services as you wish.
Our Broadband Reseller platform grants you access to Ethernet Leased Lines to also resell. This ensures that your portfolio can cater clients' needs from very basic residential usage through to the high-end demands a large or multi-site customer would need.
We grant you access to the same facilities as our Leased Line Resellers. We supply you with the ability to generate instant prices from multiple nationwide carriers. Placing orders, tracking deliver process, and managing the circuits in-life come with industry leading facilities. We have solutions ranging from single circuits, resilient and redundant setups, through to basic failover connectivity arrangements. Resellers can have a lot of confidence when selling our leased lines that they will deliver the speeds and reliability customers expect from this technology.
Available throughout the UK, ADSL technologies can supply speeds of up to 24Mbps downstream, and with the aid of Annex M, upload speeds can be as high as 2.5Mbps. The rise of fibre broadband technologies has seen the demise of ADSL, but it remains an important and dependable technology for many.
Fibre to the Cabinet is rapidly being rolled out across the UK, delivering speeds of up to 80Mbps downstream. It utilises fibre delivered to the local green street cabinet, in conjunction with existing copper cables to the premises. By removing copper from the circuit, the speeds delivered, and reliability can be that much greater than ADSL.
This new technology can offer ultrafast connectivity up to 330Mb through existing copper lines. You can liken it to the next generation of FTTC. It requires FTTC to be enabled at the cabinet, and a further hardware upgrade to the equipment at the cabinet. If your line length falls below 250m, then the option to order may be available.
Fibre to the Premises, as the name suggests, sees fibre optic cables delivered to the customer's premises. They will make use of existing ducts or even pass fibre across overhead cables to reach the site. The speeds can be staggeringly impressive up to 1Gbps downstream. As is the case with delivering fibre as part of a leased line, there are the risk of delays and excess construction charges.
Fibre to the Premises on Demand are bespoke installations of FTTP to addresses which can also be serviced by FTTC. Unlike FTTP, it will make use of the existing fibre installation to the cabinet, and then extend the fibre reach to the dwelling. Whilst the speeds and subscription costs will appeal to consumers, the construction charges can often be prohobitive.
A low cost leased line variant which offers a service level agreement. This is an FTTC based technology, backed by 1:1 contention within the carrier network. The TalkTalk Business variant includes the line as part of the subscription, making it great value, and should be of serious consideration for any business that values their connection, but without the budget for a fibre leased line.
Bonded copper pairs can deliver credible symmetrical speeds for a small business. TalkTalk Business will deliver up to 4 pairs to achieve your desired speed, and BT Wholesale will put in more if needed. It is old technology, so consideration needs to be put into the business needs over the duration of the contract, to ensure that it's not going to end up redundant.
Fibre leased lines offer the ultimate in performance and dependability to any business. Regardless of location we can deliver the speeds you need, this is because copper is removed from the equation, and you have a dedicated fibre optic connection running between your property and the exchange. We can offer speeds from 10Mb through to 10Gb either supplied as a single link or with added diversity with multiple fibres and paths.
We can offer nationwide wireless leased line coverage delivering speeds of up to 100Mb. Whilst this isn't necessarily the cheapest method of delivery, it can help circumnavigate high fibre excess construction costs, as well as delivering technological resilience options to large parts of the UK. We have developed line-of-sight tools to aid estimations pre-order to see if delivery is feasible.
The carrier we have worked with the longest offers 100% UK coverage for broadband, including the most rural locations. We can offer a complete portfolio of 20CN ADSL, 21CN ADSL, FTTC and FTTP. Whilst not necessarily the cheapest carrier, they are dependable with a superb core network and detailed diagnostics should a fault arise.
Formally known as Opal, they are separated from the retail TalkTalk arm. Their name can sometimes put some clients off, but in reality you'll be hard pushed to see any difference in the quality of their connections or support in comparison to BT Wholesale. Whilst coverage isn't 100%, it will cover the vast majority of exchanges, other than the most rural, supporting ADSL and FTTC.
The BT Wholesale portfolio we offer extends from copper based EFM and EoFTTC connections through to full fibre solutions and now ever wireless. This allows us to provide you with a leased line solution that meets your budget, regardless of location within the UK.
CityFibre are offering a unique alternative to Openreach, utilising their own ducts and fibre. They present a very tempting solution where they are on-net as their prices are hard to beat. Their foot print is growing steadily, and as new cities are enabled we will notify resellers.
Colt have an impressive global network, spanning 4 continents and 32 countries. We are primarily adding them into our portfolio for access to their London Metropolitan network access. Here they have laid their own fibre presenting a genuine alternative to Openreach and Virgin fibre solutions.
We can supply Openreach EAD Ethernet circuits which are ideal solutions for short-distance (up to 40km) point-to-point Ethernet circuits for speeds from 100Mb up to 10Gb.
Sky provide Openreach based fibre Ethernet solutions across the UK. Through a network of 2800+ enabled local access exchange they are often able to provide pricing which is hard for any other carrier to beat.
We have partnered with TalkTalk Business (formally Opal) for UK-wide access to EFM, EoFTTC and fibre leased lines. They provide a unique and complementary service other Openreach suppliers or alternative fibre carriers.
Only fibre based products are available from Virgin Media, and in some areas, where they already have fibre laid in the area, their pricing is very hard to beat. This makes them a credible alternative to consider to Openreach based solutions from BT Wholesale, Sky and TalkTalk Business.
ICUK owns and manages it's own network, IP ranges and has multiple multi-homed POP locations for broadband and leased lines. By controlling our own network we are better placed to support our client's current and future needs. For many years we have continued to channel profits into network expansion for the benefit off all our resellers and end users. If you would like to know more about our network, or explore the L2TP integration then please do not hesitate to ask.
